AI data policy
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Our house rules for how AI helpers handle your business's information, in plain English. Every helper we set up follows them.
1. You stay in charge
Helpers draft, you approve. Nothing goes to a customer without your say-so, unless you've told us otherwise in writing.
2. Your accounts, your logins, your data
Everything is set up in your name, on your accounts. You own the logins, the API keys and the data. You can switch any helper off, and you keep all of it if we stop working together.
3. Not used for training
We don't use your data, or your customers' data, to train AI models. Where a tool gives the choice, we switch off any setting that lets the provider use your data for training, and we check the tool's terms before we use it. We'll show you where that setting is.
4. Only what the job needs
A helper only gets access to the apps and data it actually needs. Nothing more.
5. Sensitive stuff stays out
No passwords, card numbers or bank details go into AI tools. We'll help you spot anything else that shouldn't, such as health information.
6. When you leave
We work inside your accounts. When you leave, we return your data if you ask, then delete what we hold within 30 days. Notes we need for invoicing and support are kept to a minimum.
7. Deleted when you ask
Ask us at any time and we'll delete anything we hold about your business, except records the law makes us keep (such as invoices), and confirm in writing. When we finish working together we remove our access to your accounts.
8. Honest about limits
AI gets things wrong sometimes. We build in checks, and we'll tell you if a job isn't a good fit for AI.
